Poem Analasis

Patrick Harnett Ms. Keambiroiro English 102 E50 September 21, 2011 I Heard a shit flight Buzz When I Died I Heard A strike down sheet Buzz When I Died, by Emily Dickenson is a short, dark rime about death. It involves the speaker communication to the proofreader from beyond the grave. As the persona lies in his in his deathbed, he awaits the coming of a phantasmal presence, and simply assumes it impart be God who receives him, ideally it is a go away. Instead of snap on the laterlife and what happens after we die, it focuses on unmatchables last moments before death. It emphasizes the fly buzzing more or less the man correctly before he passes on. It makes a true appearance in three of the four stanzas and is what the speaker experiences in dying. The clues that the death shaft itself is the most important element of the rime are clear. For one, the entire poem takes place in one room. It never treads from that setting, and the side of the narrator ne ver leaves the room. Another originator is Dickinson repeats the phrase in the Room, in the first and second stanzas, devising sure the reader has not wandered away from this setting. The flys importance focuses on the process of death in my opinion. The fly is the only record in this poem excluding the speaker. This fly and its consequences last represents the speakers inability to ready on to spirituality, faith, or hope, in the face of death. Some sources avow that the fly represent death, but I disagree. I value the fly was hypothetical to represent the speaker. It was neither God nor dickens; it was a supernatural deity perhaps. The fly could be a personification of the narrators death.
